Helping Hands of Clemson, Inc. is an emergency shelter for abused and neglected children, primarily serving Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, and Pickens counties. We have become one of the state's largest emergency shelters for children.
Our mission is three-fold:
Safety: To provide a safe and nurturing environment for abused and neglected children.
Shelter: To provide shelter and bed space to accommodate as many children as possible.
Survival: To provide the essential necessities for the survival of the bused and neglected children.
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and rely heavily on volunteer support and donations to support the House.
Helping Hands also operates a thrift shop located on Main St. in Central, SC. The profits from the thrift store are used to support and maintain the House.
