Well, we lost the UW Pickens contest by a very small margin. At least the winner, Mary's House, is a very good organization. Thanks to everyone who signed up to be our Fan. We really appreciate your effort and support. Thanks for caring.

United Way of Pickens mini-grant

Help us win a mini-grant from the UW of Pickens. Go to the UW of Pickens website, click on Get Connected, choose Helping Hands and then Become a Fan. The non-profit with the most Fans at the end of April wins the grant. Please tell your family, friends, co-workers, etc. Thanks for all the help.

The House

We've gotten three new kids in recently. One is a 1 year old baby girl and the other two are brothers, 4 & 2 years of age. That brings us up to 25 children at the moment. Our little boy room is currently full and we've had to decline accepting 2 more little boys this past week. Hopefully, if we can get our new house built, we won't have to turn children in need away.

Zumbathon

Come shake your stuff at the Zumbathon to raise money for Helping Hands of Clemson and the Anderson County Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic on Saturday, August 6 at 10am at the Central-Clemson Rec Center.

I want to thank Alex, and the crew at Moe Joe's in Clemson, and Dave from Palmetto Spirits for all their help in making the wine tasting a big success.
