Helping Hands of Clemson, Inc. is an emergency shelter and foster home for abused and neglected children. Our mission is three-fold:
1. Safety: To provide a safe and nurturing environment for abused and neglected children.
2. Shelter: To provide shelter and a bed for as many children as we can accommodate.
3. Survival: To provide the essential necessities; food, clothing, medical care, dental care, etc. for the survival of abused and neglected children.
Since opening our doors in 1984, we have become the state's largest emergency shelter for children. We serve a total of eleven counties in South Carolina. However, the majority of our children come from Anderson, Greenville, Oconee and Pickens counties.
